In this paper,we study the wireless channel fading model in X-band with a human-centric environment, and the antennas worn on different parts of the body surface are tested. The channel fading of line-of-sight(LoS)or non-line-of-sight(NLoS)links is measured at off-body or no-body scene. We analyze the shadow data and penetration data measured in different parts of the body. The results show that both the loss index and intercept of the channel fading curve will change when the wearing part of the antenna is changed;the penetration loss of the human body has nothing to do with the channel frequency or the distance between the transceiver antennas. We fit the experimental data based on the existing model. Finally,a new off-body channel fading model is proposed, which includes the shadow effect of the body surface and the correction factor of penetration loss for different parts of the human body. The model distinguishes the channel transmission of different parts of the human body.Compared with the general model,it can describe the characteristics of the isolated channel more accurately.
