摘　　要：Ample quantities of a crepidotoid agaric were collected from an evergreen forest in Kerala State,India and subsequent morphological and molecular analysis based on nLSU sequence confirmed it as Conchomyces bursiformis.A reappraisal along with comprehensive description,photographs,and discussion of this rare monotypic agaric is provided.
