Clitocella(Entolomataceae)-a new genus record for India

摘　　要：During an exploration in the virgin coniferous forest of Jammu and Kashmir,a little known taxon,Clitocella popinalis(Basidiomycota,Entolomataceae)was gathered along with other macrofungi.Based on morphological and molecular(nrITS sequence)data,detailed taxonomic information related to this species is described and illustrated for the first time from India.Morphologically and genetically allied taxa are also compared with this species.
