《西游记》“食求长生”叙事模式论析

摘　　要：《西游记》善于通过铺排长生食谱、描绘服食画图、讲述饮食故事等叙事,形成一种“食求长生”叙事模式。这一叙事模式的生成,得到了前代小说作品的滋养,具有多元的文本渊源,也受到了元明时期神仙道化剧等与道教相关剧作盛行和社会思想的影响。“食求长生”叙事模式不仅在刻画人物和推动情节发展上具有积极作用,而且对《西游记》的结构模式产生了较大影响。包括“食求长生”叙事模式在内的文本本身与“证道说”阐释之间的差异与抵牾,在一定程度上促进了《西游记》深刻复杂内涵的生成。Journey to the West is good at forming a narrative mode of“food for longevity”by laying out a recipe for longevity,describing a picture of taking food,telling food stories,etc.The generation of this narrative mode is nourished by the novels of the previous generation,with multiple textual origins,and is also influenced by the popularity of Taoist dramas and social thoughts related to Taoism in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties.The narrative mode of“food for longevity”not only plays a positive role in portraying characters and promoting plot development,but also has a great impact on the structural mode of Journey to the West.The differences and contradictions between the text itself,including the narrative mode of“food for longevity”,and the interpretation of“demonstration theory”,to a certain extent,promote the generation of the profound and complex connotation of Journey to the West.
