摘　　要：任意性是索绪尔语言符号基本原则之一,支配着整个语言学。任意性内涵主要指符号能指与所指联系的任意性以及符号在语言系统内划分与联结的任意性。符号任意性决定了符号在系统中的价值,决定了语言是一个纯粹的价值系统。命名造词是最常见的语言现象,符号任意性对命名造词的影响主要表现为命名范围更加广泛可用,命名过程更加简单高效,命名结果更加丰富多变。Arbitrariness is the most important basic feature of language sign,which dominates the linguistics of the whole language.The arbitrariness of sign mainly refers to the arbitrariness of the connection between signifier and signified and the arbitrariness of the division and connection of signs in the language system.The arbitrariness of symbols determines the value of symbols in the system and determines that language is a pure value system.Nomenclature is one of the most common linguistic phenomena.The influence of symbol arbitrariness on nomenclature is mainly manifested in that the naming scope is more widely available,the naming process is simpler and more efficient,and the naming result is more varied.
