河南南阳市河边后垱子旧石器地点调查简报  

A Brief Report on Paleolithic Artifacts from Houdangzi Locality in Nanyang City,Henan Province

摘　　要：2020年9月,吉林大学考古学院与南阳市文物考古研究所组成旧石器联合考古队,在老灌河流域进行了一次旧石器考古调查。此次调查考古队足迹遍及西峡县、淅川县,共发现10余处旧石器时代地点,西峡县河边后垱子旧石器地点为其中的一处,共发现34件石制品。其工业特征用锤击法和砸击法进行剥片;三类工具中,刮削器最多,其中,还出现了左手使用器;锤击修理,以正向加工为主,加工简单粗糙;石器类型以小型为主,中型和大型较少。经对比分析,其地质时代为中更新统,故暂归于旧石器时代早期。In September 2020,an archaeological research team,jointly organized by School of Archaeology Jilin University and Nanyang Municipal Research Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology,conducted an archaeological investigation focusing on Paleolithic artifacts in the Laoguan River Basin.The investigation was carried out in Xixia County and Xichuan County,with more than 10 Paleolithic sites discovered.One of them was Houdangzi Paleolithic site in Hebian Village,Xixia County.A total of 35 stone artifacts were collected,and percussion with a hard hammer and flock-on block technique were used to produce the artifacts.The largest number among the three types of tools was scrapers,including the left-handed tools.The retouched tools repaired by the hammering method were roughly processed.Most of the stone tools were small stone tools and a few of them were medium and large ones.Through comparative analysis,the geological age can be dated to the Middle Pleistocene Series,temporarily equivalent to the lower Paleolithic.
