摘　　要：创办于1914年的《科学》是中国近代期刊史上办刊时间最长的科学杂志,它在科学史上的贡献是多方面的,本文集中论述的则是它与中国最大的科学社团—中国科学社之间的关系,分析它如何作为社团的实体和媒介,在沟通社团内外关系,以及在构建、表达、维持和促进科学共同体发展方面所发挥的重要作用。Science,founded in 1914,is the longest-running scientific journal in the history of modern Chinese periodicals,and its contributions to science are manifold.The paper focuses on its relationship with the Chinese Science Society,the largest scientific society in China,and analyzes how it has played an important role as an entity and medium for communicating within and outside the society,and for constructing,expressing,maintaining,and promoting the development of the scientific community.
