希腊亲缘话语与哈德良泛希腊同盟中的政治策略

摘　　要：泛希腊同盟是罗马皇帝哈德良在公元131/2年建立的,以雅典为首府的东部希腊城市同盟。它为后人研究早期罗马帝国希腊亲缘话语,以及罗马与东部地区关系提供了重要线索。来自库勒尼、基比拉和马格尼西亚的三篇泛希腊铭文显示,“高贵起源”和“共同血缘”是早期罗马帝国仍在使用、并经常出现的两个希腊亲缘概念,两者的涵义与作用互有重叠,又有不同。帝国早期的亲缘话语使用模式既继承了希腊化时代的一些特征,也衍发出了一些独有的特点。具体到泛希腊同盟,有意入盟的城市可操纵亲缘话语,或借用或重新书写自身的希腊起源,建立与同盟的关系。泛希腊同盟成员对希腊亲缘话语的使用及同盟内部存在的族群认同与文化认同张力,从微观层面反映了罗马帝国中央与东部地区的互动关系。作为哈德良帝国统治政策的有机组成部分,泛希腊同盟与帝王崇拜的发展密切相关,而罗马皇帝拥有对东部城市入盟资格的裁定权。The Panhellenion,an Athens-based league of the Greek cities,was founded under Hadrian's reign around 131/2 CE.It provides a significant thread for later academics to study on the Greek kinship discourse in the early Roman Empire and the relationship between the Empire and the Eastern region.Three Panhellenic inscriptions from Cyrene,Cibyra,and Magnesia upon the Meander show that eugeneia and dysgeneia are two Greek kinship concepts in the early Roman Empire and still in use,with overlapping but distinct meanings and functions.The discourse of the Greek kinship in the early Roman Empire displays both continuity and innovation,inheriting some features of the Hellenistic period while developing some unique characteristics.In the case of the Panhellenion,cities seeking membership could manipulate the Greek kinship discourse to establish a relationship with the League.The use of the Greek kinship discourse by members of the League and the tension between ethnic and cultural identities within the League reflect the interaction between the central region and the eastern region of the Roman Empire at a micro level.As an integral part of Hadrian's imperial policy,the Panhellenion is closely associated with the development of the imperial cult,and the Roman emperors have the power to decide whether the Eastern cities are eligible to join the Panhellenion.
