摘　　要：美国非裔女作家佐拉·尼尔·赫斯顿的《约拿的葫芦蔓》是一部反成长小说。这本小说与成长小说“出走—成功”的情节走向相反,“出走—毁灭”构成了其叙事轨迹。小说主人公约翰的反成长源于伦理缺位,伦理缺位则是父爱缺失的原生家庭伦理环境、种族主义社会伦理环境以及父权制新生家庭伦理环境造成的恶果。小说反映了赫斯顿对婚姻伦理以及职业伦理的深刻思考。约翰的人生悲剧具有重要的道德警示价值和反向的道德启蒙功效。African⁃American female writer Zora Neale Hurston's Jonah's Gourd Vine is an anti⁃initiation novel.Its plot is opposite to that of initiation stories,that is,not“from runway to suc⁃cess”but“from runaway to destruction”.The protagonist John's anti⁃initiation stems from his ethical absence,which results from the loveless ethical environment of his original family,the racist social ethical environment and the patriarchal ethical environment of his new family.The novel reveals Hurston's insightful understanding of matrimonial and professional ethics.John's tragedy is of great value in terms of moral warning and ethical enlightenment by providing a neg⁃ative example.
