As a new target of emission reduction and carbon reduction, exploring the relationship between net marine fishery carbon emissions and economic growth is of great significance for promoting the development of low-carbon fisheries in my country.Based on the data of Zhejiang Province from 2005 to 2019,this paper found that the development of marine fisheries in Zhejiang Province is indeed in line with the"Inverted U-shape"of the Environmental Kuznets Curve(EKC)hypothesis by fitting the long-term trends of per capital net carbon emissions of marine fisheries and per capital output value. At the same time, unit root test, cointegration test and Granger causality test were performed on the fitted results, and the one-way causal relationship between per capital net carbon emissions and per capital output value of marine fisheries in Zhejiang Province was determined. In the marine fishery production of China, economic growth is the main reason for the increase in carbon dioxide emissions, but the growth of carbon dioxide cannot promote economic progress. Therefore, corresponding feasibility suggestions are put forward on Zhejiang's marine fishing, mariculture and industrial structure adjustment,in the hope that Zhejiang's marine fishery energy saving and emission reduction work can be better carried out.
