摘 要:尼禄作为古罗马历史上著名的暴君,其生平事迹一直是学界研究的焦点。公元64年大火及之后对基督教的“迫害”是尼禄统治时期的标志性事件,令尼禄被钉在耻辱柱上千年之久。尼禄统治期间正值早期基督教发展之时,传教的使徒彼得和保罗先后于此时殉道,对于二人的死,基督教史家认为尼禄难辞其咎。但根据文献分析,尼禄没有“迫害”过使徒彼得和保罗,且公元64年大火后尼禄杀害基督徒并不代表他对基督教进行全面打压。尼禄对待基督教秉持宗教宽容的态度,但他确实对基督教进行过局部打压,这种压制是基于帝国利益,并不影响早期基督教的成长。As a famous tyrant in ancient Roman history,Nero's life has always been the focus of academic research.The great fire of 64 AD and the subsequent"persecution"of Christianity were a landmark event during Nero's reign,causing Nero to be nailed to the pillar of shame for thousands of years.His reign coincided with the development of early Christianity,the apostles Peter and Paul were martyred at this time,and Christian historians believed that Nero was to blame for their deaths.But according to literature analysis,Nero did not"persecute"the apostles Peter and Paul,and the killing of Christians by Nero after the fire of 64 AD does not mean that he comprehensively suppressed Christianity.Nero held a religious tolerant attitude towards Christianity,but he did carry out a partial suppression of Christianity,which was based on imperial interests and did not affect the growth of early Christianity.
