摘 要:Particles and fields are two fundamental forms of matter in our natural world.Particles are excitations or quanta of their corresponding fields,which are characterized by quantum numbers such as mass,charge,spin,and parity.Photons,for example,are quanta of electromagnetic fields that mediate electromagnetic forces among charged particles.
