摘 要:俞平伯是“五四”新诗人创作转向中典型的个案。新文学先驱者在五四运动落潮后集体疏远了新文学写作现场,复归其习惯的旧体创作,或转而从事传统古典文学研究。这种文学现象产生的历史原因值得深究,对这一问题的认识关系到中国新文学史对他们的身份定位问题,还牵涉以此类新文学家为代表的中国现代知识分子对传统文化的态度和他们复杂多变的文化取向问题。从文体的新旧来看,中国新文学史中的旧体写作理应另成独立的一脉,而非笼统归于中国现代文学的时间范畴中。Yu Pingbo is a representative in the change of the new poets’creative form of May 4th.After the fall of the May Fourth Movement,the pioneers of new literature collectively distanced themselves from the writing form of new literature,reverted to their old style writing habits,or turned to traditional classical literature research,whose historical reasons are worth exploring.The understanding of this issue is related to the positioning of their identities in the history of Chinese new literature,as well as the attitude of modern Chinese intellectuals represented by such new writers towards traditional culture and their complex and ever-changing cultural orientations.From the perspective of the new and old styles of writing,the old one in the history of Chinese new literature should become an independent branch,rather than being generally attributed to the temporal category of modern Chinese literature.
