摘　　要：哥伦比亚大学近代中国留学生的有关中国财政、对外贸易、货币、农业经济、经济思想史研究的十余篇博士论文,体现了他们力图矫正西方对中国经济认知偏见与研究缺失并致力解决中国实际问题的家国情怀。这些论文在大量搜集、使用国内外原始资料的基础上,大多以经济史研究理路为脉,着力把握并分析中国具体经济问题,其研究内容有效纠补了欧美学界认知中国经济史实与现状的既存缺陷,研究主题开拓了西方学界中国经济研究的具体领域并引发后者热切关注,研究方法与研究结论也引起了西方学界的积极共鸣。The modern Chinese students in Columbia University compose more than ten doctoral dissertations about Chinese finance,foreign trade,currency,agricultural economy,history of economic thought and so on,which embody the national feelings of trying to correct Hesperian cognitive biases and research deficiency for Chinese economy,and devoting themselves to solving practical Chinese problems.On the basis of collecting and using a great number of raw materials at home and abroad,the dissertations mostly take the research path of economic history as main line to grasp and analyze the specific Chinese economic issues.The research content effectively corrects the existing defects of understanding Chinese historical facts and current condition of economy in the academic circles of Europe and America,the research topics expand the specific fields of Chinese economic research in western academic circles and arouse the keen attention,and the research methods and conclusions obtain the positive resonance.
