摘　　要：Hiroshima, hometown of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, is also known as the world's first nuclear attack target in history. From May 19 to 21, the Group of Seven (G7) summit took place in the city. Apart from the more common issues on the agenda, Japan's main concern was seeking this club of rich nations' endorsement for its nuclear wastewater discharge plan.
