摘  要:外侧隔核(lateral septum,LS)位于胼胝体与内侧隔核(medial septum,MS)之间,主要由γ‑氨基丁酸(γ‑aminobutyric acid,GABA)能神经元组成。LS作为边缘系统的重要枢纽接受海马的传入,向下丘脑发出广泛的神经纤维投射,参与情绪、社会和动机等行为调控。文章围绕LS的解剖与功能异质性,系统综述了不同神经元亚型及其相关神经环路在焦虑、恐惧、运动、攻击、进食、记忆、睡眠和麻醉中的调控作用,以期为进一步认识LS的病理和生理功能提供参考。The lateral septum(LS)is located between the corpus callosum and medial septum(MS)and predominantly composed ofγ‑aminobutyric acid‑ergic neurons.The LS,a nexus of the limbic system,integrates hippocampus inputs,and projects abundant output connections to the hypothalamus to regulate variety of functions,including emotional,social,and motivational behavior.Emerging evidence suggests the neuroanatomical and functional heterogeneity of the LS.This article overviews diverse neuron subtypes and the regulatory effects of their neural circuit on anxiety,fear,movement,aggression,feeding,memory,sleep,and anesthesia.These mechanisms will provide reference for further understanding physiological and pathophysiological effects of the LS.
