摘　　要：王命璿,明代龙岩县人。万历三十二年进士,授新会知县,擢陕西道御史,巡按直隶;丁忧,复起广东巡按,升大理寺丞,晋太常寺少卿、大理寺卿,得罪魏珰,归。崇祯十年以原官起用,晋刑部右侍郎、署刑部尚书事。忤杨嗣昌,冠带闲住。甲申闻变,北面而哭;唐王时卒。黄道周为撰碑文,赞其“抒经纬,沷山川,陶世淑人”。诗思敏捷,文采如濯锦。今传《静观山房诗稿》,流传极少,有日本内阁文库藏本。Wang Mingxuan was born in Longyan County during the Ming Dynasty.In the32nd year of the reign of Wanli,he succeeded in the imperial examination,got the title of Jinshi and was assigned the head of the County of Xinhui.Later,he was promoted to be the imperial historian of Shaanxi Dao,and then the governor of Zhili.After his mourning period of his parents'death,he became the governor of Guangdong and then theDeputy Chief of Dali Temple,Deputy Chief of Taichang Temple,and Chief of Dali Temple.He offended Wei Dang and returned to his hometown.In the tenth year of the reignof Chongzhen,he was appointed to take the previous position and then promoted to be the deputy Minister of Justice,and then the Minister.He offended Yang Sichang and lost his power.When he heard the Ming Dynasty was overthrown,he cried,facing the north.He died in 1653.Huang Daozhou wrote an inscription to praise him for“expressing the longitude and latitude,exploring mountains and rivers,and being a talented person in poetry”.Wang has literary grace and agilethought.His Poetry Manuscript from Jingguanshan Room has been passed down but there exist few,some of which is the version of Japanese Cabinet Library.
