摘  要:全球化发展和人类命运共同体的构建需求在新媒体列车快速驰骋下将跨文化场景铺设到每一个角落。不论是英语专业的《本科教学质量国家标准》还是非外语专业的《大学英语教学指南》的最新版本都将跨文化能力列进了外语教学的核心目标。在这个时代大背景下,梳理跨文化能力概念的历时性发展和通识教育在中国的实践成果与走向,并基于跨文化能力与通识能力在培养新时期人才上的契合点,提出跨文化能力应成为新时代通识能力的重要组成部分,这是应对全球性议题井喷、跨文化交流形式日趋多样和大思政格局下讲好中国故事并提升中国国际传播力的重要策略。The development of globalization and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind spread intercultural scenes to every corner as the result of the rapid galloping of new media trains.Both the National Standards for Un‐dergraduate Teaching Quality for English majors and the latest version of the College English Teaching Guidelines for non-for‐eign-language majors have included intercultural competence as the core goal of foreign language teaching.Based on the back‐ground of this era,this paper summarizes the diachronic development of the concept of cross-cultural competence and the practi‐cal achievements and trends of liberal education in China.Meanwhile,based on the convergence of cross-cultural and general abilities in cultivating talents in the new era,we propose that intercultural abilities should be included as an important component of genenal competency in the new era.This is an important strategy to respond to the global issue explosion,the increasingly di‐verse forms of intercultural communication,and telling the Chinese story well and enhancing China's international communica‐tion ability under the background of the great moral education.
