Objective To investigate the correlation between the degree of endolymphatic fluid accumulation on gadolinium imaging MRI of the inner ear and hearing loss in patients with Meniere's disease. Methods The data of 147 patients with Ménière's disease were selected, and all patients underwent gadolinium imaging MRI of the inner ear and pure tone hearing threshold examination. The degree of vestibular and cochlear endolymphatic fluid in the affected ear was evaluated separately, and the degree of fluid accumulation was correlated with the audiometric findings. Results Spearman's correlation test analysis showed that the degree of lymphatic effusion in the vestibule and cochlea of the affected ear was positively correlated with the audiometric findings at different hearing thresholds(P<0.05). Conclusion The degree of lymphoid fluid in the inner ear of patients with Ménière's disease is positively correlated with the hearing test results, which can provide some help for clinical judgment of the course of Ménière's disease and treatment.
