Collapsible loess is a kind of special soil with high strength and low compressibility under natural humidity. It is easy to produce collapsible deformation when encountering water, which is of great harm to road engineering.Combined with the treatment project of collapsible loess subgrade of an expressway in Inner Mongolia, the subgrade section model before and after the treatment of crushed stone pile was established by using ABAQUS finite element software, and the settlement numerical simulation was carried out.Combined with the observation results of field settlement, the treatment effect of crushed stone pile on the collapsible loess subgrade disease was analyzed. The results show that the subgrade settlement after gravel pile treatment is less than that before gravel pile treatment, and gravel pile can effectively reduce the uneven settlement of collapsible loess subgrade. The numerical simulation results are close to the measured results and the variation rules are basically consistent, which verifies the reliability of the numerical simulation.
