摘　　要：城市蔓延是城市发展过程中普遍存在的现象,现有研究对城市蔓延的研究大多局限于区域内部视角,鲜有文献从城市间相互关联角度分析城市蔓延对区域协同发展的影响效应。该研究阐述了城市蔓延对区域协同发展的非线性影响机制以及创新网络联通的二维传导机制,并综合采用效率增值法、双固定效应面板模型和中介效应模型测算分析了2006—2019年长江经济带108个城市两两之间(即11556组城市对)的区域协同发展水平及整体收敛性,实证检验了城市蔓延对区域协同发展的直接作用机制和创新网络联通的二维传导机制。结果表明:①2006—2019年长江经济带整体呈现“龙头与中心城市引领全局、龙腰与毗邻城市局部趋稳”的区域协同发展格局,长江经济带整体、分地区和毗邻城市之间的区域协同发展水平差距均逐渐缩小,存在绝对β收敛,但中心城市之间的区域协同发展水平仍在扩大,不存在绝对β收敛。②城市蔓延对区域协同发展的影响呈现倒“U”型,即当城市蔓延水平达到一定阈值后,将表现出对区域协同发展的抑制效应,在进行一系列稳健性检验后这种关系仍然显著存在。③城市蔓延对区际创新要素联系和区际创新分工的影响均呈倒“U”型,并通过影响区际创新要素联系和区际创新分工驱动区域协同发展。Urban sprawl is a common phenomenon in the process of urban development.However,most existing research on urban sprawl is limited to an intra-regional perspective,with few studies analyzing the impact of urban sprawl on regional collaborative development from an intercity perspective.In order to fill this gap,this study first elaborated on the nonlinear impact mechanism of urban sprawl on coordinated regional development and the two-dimensional transmission mechanism of innovation network connectivity.Then,the efficiency value-added model,double fixed effect panel model,and intermediary effect model were comprehensively used to calculate and analyze the coordinated regional development level and overall convergence between two pairs of 108 cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt(11556 pairs of cities)from 2006 to 2019.Finally,the study empirically tested the direct mechanism of urban sprawl on coordinated regional development and the two-dimensional transmission mechanism of innovation network connectivity.The results showed that:①From 2006 to 2019,the Yangtze River Economic Belt as a whole presented a coordinated regional development pattern with the‘downstream area and central cities leading the overall situation and the middle reaches and adjacent cities partially stabilizing.’The gap at the level of coordinated regional development between the whole,sub-regions,and adjacent cities of the Yangtze River Economic Belt gradually narrowed,and there was an absoluteβConvergence.However,the level of coordinated regional development between central cities was still expanding,and there was no absoluteβConvergence.②The impact of urban sprawl on coordinated regional development presented an inverted‘U’shape;that is,when the level of urban sprawl reached a certain threshold,it showed an inhibitory effect on coordinated regional development.After a series of robustness tests,this relationship remained significant.③The impact of urban sprawl on the interregional innovation element connection and the interr
