论新见嗀甗中的“司寇”及相关问题

摘　　要：从册命铭文内容与载体甗之间的矛盾,及“右”“宝”字形、铭文“王曰尹册命■”“用作祖考宝”“万年子子孙孙永宝用”句式等疑问来看,新公布的嗀甗可靠性存疑。仅就铭文内容而言,也看不出“司寇”的具体职责。嗀甗铭文存疑,缺乏作为史料的可靠性,不能作为反映西周中期已经存在“司寇”的金文证据。Based on cont radictions between the content of the inscriptions and the yan甌vessel format,in addition to doubts surrounding the script of you右,and bao宝,and the format of the sentences“王日尹册命,”“用作祖考宝”and“万年子子孙孙永宝用,”the reliability of the newly published gu yan彀甑is in doubt.Even if the above doubts are not taken into account,the specific duties of the sikou司寇cannot be just seen from the content of the inscription.The gu yan inscription is dubious and lacks reliability as a historical source.It cannot be used as evidence for the existence of the sikou in the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty.
