荀子对禅让思想的继承与修正

摘  要:《唐虞之道》《容成氏》《子羔》等战国楚简的出土,促使学者相继投入战国禅让思想的研究,其中《荀子·正论》对尧、舜禅让的否定,令不少学者认定荀子的立场与战国法家相似,属于禅让思想的否定派。综合传世文献《尚书》中《尧典》《舜典》《大禹谟》及前述三种出土文献所呈现的禅让思想,与《荀子》中《正论》《成相》对禅让的诠释相互映证,以及《荀子》其他篇章所涉及的观点,可见得荀子并非全盘否定禅让,只是企图将之融入其礼制思想中,刨除禅让思想中不符时用的部份元素,又能持续体现“尚贤”“授能”“遇时”等政治理想。The excavation of Chu bamboo slips in the Warring States period,such as"Tang Yu zhidao","Rong Cheng shi","Zigao",made many scholars successively invest in the study of the idea of"Shan-rang"in the Warring States period.Among them,"Xunzi"(Zheng Lun)denies Yao and Shun's regime transfer system,so that many scholars believe that Xunzi's position is similar to that of the legalists of the Warring States period,and he belongs to the negative of the idea of Shan-rang.The mutual evidence from"Yao Dian","Shun Dian","Da Yu Mo"in the handed down documents"Shang Shu"and the thought of Shan-rang in the above three unearthed documents,and the interpretation of"Zheng Lun"and"Cheng Xiang"in Xunzi.,as well as the viewpoints involved in other chapters of Xunzi,show that Xunzi did not completely deny Shan-rang,but only tried to integrate it into his ritual thought,and retain political ideas such as"honoring the virtuous","empowering",and"good monarch".
