摘　　要：法律英语不同于通常使用的普通英语,具有较强的学科交叉性,在文体和词汇上有鲜明的独特性。文章通过对《中华人民共和国民法典合同编》英译版的分析,从使用分布、语义理论等角度,分析法律英语词汇的特点,如继承古体词、吸收外来语、具有鲜明的语义关系等。Different from the commonly used ordinary English,legal English has a strong interdisciplinary nature with distinct uniqueness in style and vocabulary.Through the analysis of the English translation of the Contract Part of the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China,this paper analyzes the characteristics of legal English vocabulary such as inheriting ancient words,absorbing foreign words,and having distinct semantic relationships from the perspectives of usage distribution and semantic theory.
