摘 要:基于一项始于2013年且仍在进行的追踪调查,探讨进入精英大学的农村籍大学生特殊的社会体验(不少研究指出的“自卑”心理)。所谓的“自卑”可以重新加以概念化,即农村籍大学生的一种特殊主观建构——对自身社会能力的“低估”,可被纳入社会流动研究的视域考察。农村籍大学生对社会能力的“自我低估”是他们经历向上的社会流动时不熟识新的地位文化的结果。由于自认为缺乏被认可的“知识”和“文化技能”,接受访谈的农村籍大学生普遍提及感到“不自信”,倾向于对自身的社会能力进行负面评价。由于否定自身的社交能力,接受访谈的农村籍大学生会倾向减少在非学业领域的探索。对农村籍大学生自卑现象的考察应着重结构分析。其意义在于,既可深入揭示其本质与社会成因,也为消解针对农村学生的刻板印象并进而为他们增能赋权提供可能。This study,based on a follow-up survey that began in 2013 and is still underway,probes into the special social experience("self-abasement"in many studies)of the rural students admitted into elite universities.The so-called"self-abasement"can be redefined as a special subjective construct from rural students,namely an"underestimate"of their own social competences,which can be included in the perspective of social mobility research.This"self-underestimation"results from rural students'unfamiliarity with their new status-related culture when they experience upward social mobility.Believing their lack of accepted"knowledge"and"cultural skills,"the rural students interviewed mostly felt"unconfident"and tended to negatively evaluate their social competences;as they denied their social skills,they tended to reduce their exploration into non-academic areas.The exploration into rural students'self-abasement needs to focus on structural analysis.This is meaningful because it helps not only to reveal the essence and social causes of their self-abasement,but also to dispel stereotypes about them and offer them possible empowerment.
