摘　　要：地质调查所所长翁文灏与瑞典探险家斯文·赫定在20世纪20至40年代交往密切,共同推动了地质调查所与斯文·赫定在中瑞西北科学考察、西北科学考查团研究论著出版、编制中国西北地图等方面的合作与交流。文章利用瑞典国家档案馆藏未刊斯文·赫定档案文献资料,以翁文灏与斯文·赫定的往来通信为主要研究对象,结合其他与地质调查所相关的档案材料,论述二人20余年的交往,可揭示长期不为人所知的最早的中瑞西北科学考察协议全貌,以及后西北科学考察时代的中瑞科学合作与交流,为西北科学考查团、地质调查所及其中国地图史研究提供新资料。The Director of Geological Survey(地质调查所)Wong Wenhao(翁文灏)and Swedish explorer Sven Hedin had close contacts from 1920s to 1940s.They jointly promoted cooperation between the Geological Survey and the Sino-Swedish Expedition(西北科学考查团)in scientific exploration of Northwest China,the publication of research carried out by the Expedition,and the compilation of a detailed map of the region.This article uses previously unpublished correspondence between Wong Wenhao and Sven Hedin in the Sven Hedin Archives of the Riksarkivet together with other archival materials of the Geological Survey,to explore the communication that lasted for more than two decades between the two men.The aim is to reveal a more comprehensive picture of the earliest known Sino-Swedish scientific expedition agreement and the lasting scientific exchanges between China and Sweden in the post expedition era,and to contribute new findings to the study of the Sino-Swedish Expedition,the Geological Survey,as well as the history of Chinese maps.
