摘　　要：针对地理信息系统在公安行业应用中存在多个名称相近及中英文简称混用问题,本文采用文献研究与统计相结合的方法,分析了警用地理信息系统在不同发展阶段名称使用上的变化,厘清了不同名称使用的历史背景和语义环境,论述了概念、内涵与外延,并对其与相关学科的关系进行了探讨。In response to the issue of multiple similar names and Chinese abbreviations being used in the application of Geographic Information Systems(GIS)in the public security industry,this paper combines literature research and statistical analysis to analyze the changes in the names used for police GIS(PGIS)in different development stages.The historical background and semantic context of the different name usages are clarified,and the concepts,connotations,and extensions are discussed.Additionally,the paper explores the relationship between PGIS and related disciplines.
