摘 要:高填充量的阻燃剂会对聚丙烯(PP)发泡材料的力学性能和泡孔结构造成影响。为制备兼具力学性能、阻燃性能和发泡效果良好的PP发泡复合材料,使用三聚氰胺聚磷酸盐(MPP)和膨胀石墨(EG)共同作用提高PP/三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)发泡复合材料的阻燃性能。研究发现MPP/EG总添加量为20份且MPP和EG的质量比为1∶1时,材料垂直燃烧等级达到V-0级,极限氧指数为29.9%。并且通过热重分析和锥形量热分析可知,该配比下800℃的残炭率为13.59%,且炭层非常致密,材料的热释放速率峰值降至178.00 kW/m^(2),比未阻燃改性前低了81.54%。同时利用扫描电子显微镜对阻燃改性后的试样断面进行分析,观察材料内部泡孔结构,结果发现阻燃效果最佳(MPP和EG的质量比为1∶1,总添量为20份)的试样,其泡孔平均直径为64.51μm。为减少阻燃剂对材料发泡性能的影响,进一步按照MPP和EG的质量比为1∶1的配比降低MPP/EG总添加量至15份时,泡孔平均直径下降至56.47μm,泡孔密度达到了3.917×10^(6)个/cm^(3)。而微小密集的泡孔同样能够扩大受力面积,使材料的力学性能得到提升。High filling levels of flame retardants can affect the mechanical properties and cellular structure of polypropylene(PP)foamed materials.To produce PP foamed composites with excellent mechanical properties,flame retardancy,and foaming performance,melamine polyphosphate(MPP)and expanded graphite(EG)were employed together to enhance the flame retardancy of PP/ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber(EPDM)foamed composites.The research discovers that at MPP/EG total addition level of 20 phr and MPP∶EG mass ratio of 1∶1,the vertical burning level of the composite achieves V-0 and the limiting oxygen index is 29.9%.Through thermogravimetric analysis and cone calorimetry,it is found that the residual carbon rate at 800℃is 13.59%,and the carbon layer is very dense,with the peak heat release rate of the composite reduces to 178.00 kW/m^(2),which is 81.54%lower than that without flame retardant modification.Scanning electron microscope was used for analyzing the cross-section of the samples after flame retardant treatment to observe the internal cell structure of the composite.It is revealed that sample with the best flame retardant effect(MPP/EG total addition of 20 phr and MPP∶EG mass ratio of 1∶1)has a average cellular diameter of 64.51μm.To alleviate the impact of flame retardants on the foaming performance of the composite,the MPP/EG total addition is further reduced to 15 phr according to MPP∶EG mass ratio of 1∶1,and the average cellular diameter decreases to 56.47μm,while the cellular density increases to 3.917×106 cells/cm3.The small and dense cells can also expand the stress area,improving the mechanical properties of the composite.
