摘　　要：2023年6月6日,对我来说是一个特殊的日子,我认真地检查仪容仪表,再三审核检查拟定的采访提纲,提前1小时到达中国疾病预防控制中心门口附近,我告诉自己不能有半点疏忽和懈怠,因为我要采访的是为中国免疫规划事业作出贡献的兰斯博士,他心中饱含对公共卫生事业的不懈坚持和热情,十年如一日奋战在中国免疫规划事业第一线,为中国千千万万儿童的健康提供了保障。Lance Everett Rodewald is an internationally recognized expert in immunization programs.After a long career of leading immunization services at the US-CDC,he has been a long-time immunization program supporter in China since June 2012,working on maintaining a polio-free China,eliminating measles and rubella,controlling hepatitis B,and integrating new vaccines into the immunization program as head of the immunization program team at the World Health Organization China.After finishing his work at WHO and retiring in May 2018,the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention appointed him as a senior advisor on the national immunization program.
