摘 要:本研究以Stroop(斯特鲁普)、启动实验为范式,从具身视角探讨颜色(黑与白)、熟悉度、SOA及语言变体对英、汉母语者阴阳隐喻表征加工的影响。通过Stroop效应,实验1证实“白阳黑阴”的隐喻联结存在心理现实性。实验2发现,短SOA条件下,颜色对英、汉母语被试加工阴阳隐喻词义产生促进效应,汉语母语被试具有较强的“白—阳”隐喻联结。实验3发现,长SOA条件下,白色线索会显著促进英语母语被试加工高熟悉阳隐喻词汇。研究结果可为具身隐喻理论提供实证依据,以证实英汉语世界共享阴阳隐喻心理图式,为跨文化传播研究提供一种新方式。The study adopts the Stroop and priming paradigm to investigate the influencing factors on native English&Chinese speakers’yin-yang metaphor representation processing in terms of colors(black and white),familiarity,SOA and language variety,from embodied perspective.Using Stroop effect,experiment 1 shows that there is psychological reality of the association between black-white color and yin-yang metaphor in a cross-cultural context.Using a short SOA,experiment 2 finds that the colors have a significant facilitation effect on yin-yang metaphors for both English&Chinese subject groups and have a stronger facilitation for white yang metaphor association in Chinese group.Using a long SOA,experiment 3 shows that white cues significantly facilitate the processing of high-familiar yang metaphors in English group.The findings provide empirical evidence to embodied metaphor theory,and prove that English and Chinese share the same mental schema on yin-yang metaphor and pave a new way for cross-cultural communication research.
