摘 要:介绍了以2.2 MW多注速调管作为功率源设计的X波段驻波轴耦合加速管,工作频率为9.3 GHz,工作模式π/2。借助CST优化加速管微波加速结构,实现靶区俘获能量最高6.3 MeV,粒子俘获效率为40.3%,束流流强为120 mA,管芯总长为335 mm(包含电子枪及转换靶),相比现有以1.5 MW磁控管驱动的近700 mm长X波段加速管,总长缩短52%。基于本设计完成腔体加工并进行了腔链调谐,加速管冷测参数与设计参数吻合。A 2.2 MW multiple-beam klystron is used as the power source to design an X-band standing wave accelerator with axial-coupled structure,which works inπ/2 mode with operating frequency of 9.3 GHz.The microwave acceleration structure is optimized by MWS studio of CST to realize the highest captured energy of 6.3 MeV,particle capture efficiency of 40.3%and beam flow of 120 mA.The total length of the accelerator is 335 mm(including electron gun and target),which is shortened by 52%when compared to the nearly 700 mm length of the existing X-band accelerator.Based on this design,the cavities are manufactured and the cavity chain tuning is conducted.The result indicates that the cold measurement parameters of the accelerator are basically consistent with the design values.
