摘 要:白话自由诗受西方诗歌影响似乎成为人们的共识。王东风教授在《诗歌翻译论》中对这一观点进行了驳斥。首先,该书利用谱系学的研究方法,聚焦新诗运动以来诗歌翻译与创作的基本史实,将史实“问题化”,并对现有文献资料进行知识考古,发现白话自由诗并非西诗汉译的产物,而是翻译操纵的结果;随后从诗学原理入手,对西诗汉译中的格律及诗意的再现提出解决方案,并进行可行性论证;最后以新诗运动中的著名译者为代表进行个案研究,关注这些译者的翻译思想及特色,探寻其译作得失。该书史论结合,理论与实践并重,回归诗学本质,颠覆传统观点,创造性地提出解决方案,开辟了诗歌翻译研究的新路径。In the book On Poery Translation,Professor Wang Dongfeng refutes the commonly accepted view that vernacular free verse is influenced by Western poetry.First,based on genealogical research method,this book focuses on the historical facts of poetry translation and creation since the New Poetry Movement.It then problematizes the historical facts and conducts knowledge archaeology to current literature,and finds that vernacular free verse does not result from Western poetry translation,but from translation manipulation.Second,based on poetics,this book proposes solutions to the reproduction of meter and poeticness in the translation of Western poetry,and its feasibility is demonstrated.Finally,a case study on famous translators in the New Poetry Movement is conducted,focusing on their translation thoughts and characteristics,and the gains and losses in their poetry translation.This book combines historical facts with theory,attaches equal importance to theory and practice,returns to poetics to subvert traditional views,and proposes creative solutions to Western poetry translation.Therefore,it opens up a new path for poetry translation study.
