摘 要:本文基于组织学习理论和交易成本理论,考察了文化距离对国际战略联盟创新绩效的影响及作用机制,选取生物制药、电子信息、计算机及办公设备、通信设备、电子组件及配件、各种电器设备和用品6个行业的企业作为研究对象,从美国SDC Platinum数据库选取2010—2019年参与跨国战略联盟的中国企业作为初始样本数据,并具此进行实证分析。研究结果显示:文化距离与跨国战略联盟渐进式创新和突破式创新绩效均呈正U型关系,当文化距离处于较低水平时,不利于联盟企业创新;当文化距离处于较高水平时,有利于促进联盟企业创新。Based on organizational learning theory and transaction cost theory,this paper examines the impact of cultural distance on the innovation performance of international strategic alliances and the mechanism of its effect.Enterprises in six industries,biopharmaceuticals,electronic information,computer and office equipment,communication equipment,electronic components and accessories,and various electrical equipment and supplies,were selected as the target objects for the study.Chinese enterprises participating in multinational strategic alliances from 2010 to 2019 were selected from the US SDC Platinum database as the initial sample data and used for the empirical analysis.The findings show that cultural distance has a positive U-shaped relationship with both incremental and breakthrough innovation performance in multinational strategic alliances,with cultural distance being detrimental to alliance firm innovation when it is at a small level,and promoting alliance firm innovation when it is at a high level.
