摘　　要：丹尼尔·贝尔在《资本主义文化矛盾》中指出,资本主义的文化矛盾是由于新生的现代主义文化无法弥补因传统文化的丢失而遗留下的空白,是资本主义社会矛盾所产生的根源。为解决资本主义文化矛盾,他设想出一种将“政治、经济、文化”结合在一起的“公共家庭”,即通过全体成员的共同协商来推动人类社会的良好发展。贝尔关于资本主义文化矛盾的分析并没有深入到资本主义社会的本质,其解决方案亦陷入了精英主义和技术决定论的幻境,是一场彻头彻尾的空想。Daniel Bell argues in his book Capitalist Cultural Contradiction that capitalist cultural contradiction is a blank left over by emerging modernist cultures which can’t make up for the loss of traditional culture;this blank is the root of the contradiction in the capitalist society.For a solution to the contradiction,Daniel has conceived of a“public family”combining“politics,economy and culture”to better promote human development through joint consultation of all the members in this family.However,Daniel hasn’t gone deep into the essence of capitalist cultural contradiction;his solution has grown into an illusion framed by elitism and technology determinism,thus a perfect daydream.
