China Attends CEDAW Meeting on Consideration of Country's Ninth Periodic Report

摘　　要：5月12日,中国代表团在瑞士日内瓦就中国执行《消除对妇女一切形式歧视公约》第九次定期报告情况接受联合国消除对妇女歧视委员会审议。中国代表团团长、国务院妇女儿童工作委员会副主任黄晓薇率领由中央政府、香港特区政府、澳门特区政府代表组成的代表团出席审议。中央政府代表团成员来自16个负责促进妇女发展与权益保障的主要部门和单位。A Chinese delegation attended a meeting held in Geneva,Switzerland,on May 12,2023.During the meeting,the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women of the United Nations considered China's ninth periodic report on the implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women(CEDAW).Huang Xiaowei,Vice-Chairperson of the National Working Committee on Children and Women,under the State Council,headed the delegation composed of representatives of the Central Government and the governments of the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions(SARs).Representatives of the Central Government included officials from 16 departments and agencies in charge of women's development and rights protection.
