摘　　要：民主评议党员制度是中国共产党在新的历史条件下加强基层组织建设所进行的一种有益的积极探索和尝试,它既是全面从严治党、加强对党员经常性教育、管理和监督的有效措施,也是加强和规范党内政治生活的重要组成部分。民主评议党员制度源于基层党组织的创造和实践探索,后来为中共中央以制度的形式加以肯定,成为党内一项经常性组织生活制度。党的十八以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央提出全面从严治党,多次就民主评议党员制度的完善提出要求、作出规定。民主评议党员制度对于强化党员意识和党性观念,加强基层党员队伍建设,贯彻“党要管党、从严治党”的方针,保持党组织的先进性和纯洁性具有重要的意义;对于提高党员的政治素质,解决党员队伍中存在的问题,发挥了重要作用。The system of democratic appraisal of party members is a useful and active exploration and attempt of the CPC to strengthen the construction of grass-roots organizations under the new historical conditions.It is not only an effective measure to comprehensively govern the party strictly and strengthen the regular education,management and supervision of party members,but also an important part of strengthening and standardizing the political life within the party.The system of democratic evaluation of party members originated from the creation and practical exploration of grassroots party organizations,and later was affirmed by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in the form of a system,becoming a regular organizational life system within the party.The system of democratic appraisal of party members is of great significance to strengthen the awareness and concept of party members,strengthen the construction of grassroots party members,implement the policy of“the party should manage the party and strictly govern the party”,and maintain the progressiveness and purity of the party organization.It has played an important role in improving the political quality of party members and solving the problems existing in the party member team.
