摘　　要：文章全面总结了国内外学术界对西夏藏传佛教的研究,详细梳理了已有的研究成果,包括关于西夏“国师”、西夏的藏传佛教以及汉藏佛教在西夏的交融等等方面的研究和有待解决的问题,都进行了总结评述,为研究者提供了方便可靠的参考。I.Methodological Considerations Before proceeding to the actual discussion,a few words on our methodology are due.During nearly two hundred years of its history,Tangut state,known as the Xixia(西夏,literally translating as Western Xia)or the Great State of White and High(大白高国),created a Buddhist tradition,crucial for the development of Buddhism in East Asia.
