摘　　要：在中国不断重视知识产权保护的现实背景下,本文基于创新和价格的质量竞争力效应构建了知识产权保护影响产品出口质量的作用机制。在此基础上,利用CEPII中2002—2019年产品层面数据,实证检验中国知识产权保护对高技术产品出口质量的影响及其作用机制。研究发现,提高知识产权保护水平可显著提升中国高技术产品的出口质量,其作用机制主要是通过提高市场创新能力、降低贸易成本而实现的,结果通过一系列内生性检验和稳健性检验。拓展性分析表明知识产权保护水平对高技术产品出口质量的正向促进作用因出口目的国收入水平和高技术产品的不同类别而存在差异,其中对中等偏下收入国家以及电器机械和机械制造类产品的出口质量提升作用显著。Against the realistic background of China's continuous emphasis on intellectual property protection,this paper constructs a mechanism of intellectual property protection affecting the quality of export products based on the quality competitiveness effects of innovation and price.On this basis,product-level data from 2002-2019 in CEPII are used to empirically test the impact of intellectual property protection in China on the export quality of high-technology products and its mechanism of action.It is found that strengthening the level of intellectual property protection can significantly improve the export quality of China's high-tech products,and the impact mechanism is achieved by improving market innovation capacity and reducing trade costs.The results pass a series of endogeneity tests and robustness tests.The extension analysis shows that the positive effect of intellectual property protection level on export quality of hightech products varies by the income level of the export destination countries and the product categories,with significant effects on the export quality of lower middle-income countries and electrical machinery and mechanical engineering products.
