纳米蒙脱土改性酚醛树脂胶黏剂对大片刨花板性能的影响

摘  要:传统阻燃剂在人造板中的应用已经十分成熟,但传统阻燃剂施加量较高、显著削弱胶合性能的问题一直未得到合理解决。将纳米蒙脱土加入胶黏剂中则为解决该问题提供了技术可能。为此,这项工作的重点是将纳米材料蒙脱土分散在酚醛(PF)树脂中,并压制大片刨花板。试验结果表明,在经过超声与搅拌处理之后纳米蒙脱土的层间距增大,有利于纳米蒙脱土在PF树脂中的分散。变温傅里叶红外光谱的结果表明钠基蒙脱土延缓了PF树脂固化。通过计算纳米蒙脱土改性PF树脂热分解残余质量分数的理论值并将其与试验结果进行比较,表明蒙脱土的加入提高了木材的热稳定性。力学性能结果显示,当钠基蒙脱土(NaMMT)的添加量占绝干刨花质量的0.08%时,静曲强度与弹性模量提升幅度最大,分别为42.65%和29.46%,当有机蒙脱土(OMMT)的添加量占绝干刨花质量的0.4%时可以使内结合强度提高21.74%。同时在胶黏剂中加入质量分数1%~5%的蒙脱土对大片刨花板极限氧指数数值的提升幅度为9.13%~16.98%。采用纳米蒙脱土改性人造板中的胶黏剂是有效提高人造板阻燃性能与力学性能可行的方案。Fire safety is the basic requirement of modern green building materials such as large particleboards.Traditional flame retardants have been used successfully in wood-based panels.However,the issue of the excessive traditional flame-retardant dosage severely weakening the mechanical strength has not been adequately addressed.Nanomaterials,typically used at low levels(mass ratio<5%),have significantly reduced polymer flammability,such as reductions of heat release rate(HRR)and mass loss rate(MLR).In addition,due to the high mechanical strength and stiffness of these nanomaterials,in some cases the mechanical properties of highly analytical materials have also been improved.Therefore,adding nano-montmorillonite into adhesive is a promising solution to this problem.Thus,the focus of this work was to disperse the nano-montmorillonite in a phenolic(PF)resin and prepare large particleboards by the hot-pressing method.According to the X-ray diffraction analysis,the layer spacing of nano-montmorillonite increased after being subjected to the ultrasonic and stirring treatment,which was favorable for the dispersion of nano-montmorillonite in PF resin.Meanwhile,the changing trend of the Fourier transform infrared spectrometer curves under 80℃showed that the curing of PF resin was delayed by Na+montmorillonite(NaMMT),while organically modified montmorillonite(OMMT)would accelerate the curing of the PF resin.The three-point bending test results of large particleboards indicated that the mechanical properties were enhanced due to the addition of NaMMT.The samples showed the greatest increases of the static bending strength and modulus of elasticity of 42.65%and 29.46%respectively,when the amount of NaMMT was 0.08%of the total dry wood mass.The addition of OMMT was more advantageous for the improvement of the internal bond strength of the large particleboards.The internal bond strength can be increased by 21.74%when the addition of OMMT was 0.4%of the total dry wood mass.The thermogravimetric analysis was used to examine the i
