摘  要:对儒家而言,以德化民、礼乐教化乃是治国为政、引导人民崇德向善的理想治道,对这一理想治道的追寻和探求,体现了他们始终不渝的思想追求和政治情怀。礼乐教化的作用在于能很好地协调和节制人的情感与欲望,构建一种人道且文明的伦理生活方式,通过潜移默化的教化方式使人民逐渐养成美善之品性与行为,乃至在不知不觉间徙善远罪。当然,他们也并不完全拒绝和排斥这样一种可能性和必要性,即有时需要恰当地运用强制性的刑政手段和措施,来维持一种优良的治理秩序。For Confucianists,the ideal way to govern the country and guide people is through morality and ritual music.The search for such an optimal route reflects their unswerving ideological pursuit and political sentiments.The role of ritual music civilization is to harmonize and regulate human emotions and desires and build a humane and civilized ethical way of life.It enables people to gradually develop good character and behavior and even to keep away from sin unconsciously through a subtle form of civilization.Of course,they do not completely reject the possibility that sometimes mandatory criminal governance measures be properly used in order to maintain a good governance order.
