摘　　要：公共交通公示语指各主要交通枢纽内的交通标牌、交通安全标语、服务性信息、提示性信息、禁止类信息等。公共交通领域汉英双语公示语服务环境建设水平在检验城市国际化程度方面发挥着日益重要的作用。公共交通公示语在英文译写过程中应注意词语、语法、翻译、译文方面存在的问题,改进、提升公共交通公示语的英译质量,提升城市形象,提高城市国际化水平。Public transport signs refer to traffic signs,traffic safety slogans,service information,suggestive information and prohibited information in major transportation hubs.The construction level of Chinese-English bilingual public signs service environment in the field of public transport is playing an increasingly important role in testing the degree of internationalization of cities.It is found that attention should be paid to the use of words and grammar,mechanical translation,translation form and redundant translation in the process of translating public signs.By improving and enhancing the quality of English translation of public transport signs,it will help overseas tourists and resident foreigners to travel conveniently,beautify the image of cities and enhance the degree of internationalization of cities.
