莎士比亚与白朴爱情戏剧的比较

摘　　要：英国剧作家莎士比亚与中国杂剧家白朴皆有以爱情为主题的戏剧传世,两位剧作家擅长在前人作品和历史中汲取灵感,通过爱情戏剧中的时空设置为价值观念和矛盾冲突作铺垫,塑造涉及贵族、帝王乃至跨越阶级的男女主角的人物形象,彰显自由恋爱与父权统治的冲突,爱情忠贞与私欲背叛的冲突,人的奋起抗争与命运反复无常的冲突,启迪后世爱情戏剧的时空设置,人物塑造和冲突构成。莎士比亚爱情戏剧反映了文艺复兴时期承前启后的爱情理念和复杂人性,白朴爱情杂剧反映了人类爱情本能和个体与封建礼教和命运的对抗,都充满时代精神和人类共同价值观。English playwright Shakespeare and Chinese playwright Bai Pu were famous for their love dramas.Both of them excelled in drawing inspiration from the writings of their predecessors and history.Through the space and time setting of love dramas,they foreshadowed the values and conflicts,and created the images of the heroes and heroines including aristocrats,emperors and even people from different social classes.Their plays highlighted the conflicts between free love and patriarchal rule,loyalty of love and the betrayal of it caused by the selfish desire,human’s struggle and the capricious fate,which inspired later love dramas’time and space setting,character shaping and conflict composition.Shakespeare’s love dramas reflect the ideas of love and complex humanity in the Renaissance while Bai Pu’s dramas reflect the love instinct of human beings and individuals’confrontation with feudal rituals and fate,both of which are full of the spirit of their times and universal values.
