摘　　要：如何激发学生的研究兴趣,为培养具有较高的工程素质和较强实践能力、创新能力的卓越工程师打好基础,已成为各高校普遍关注的课题。湖南工程学院作为全国“卓越工程师教育培养计划”首批试点高校之一,通过开设学科前沿讲座,让学生了解和熟悉学科的发展现状、研究动态及发展趋势,拓宽学生的知识面和专业面,并对课程的教学内容、教学模式、教学方法、教学队伍和考核机制提出思考和建议,使其能够适应于本校“卓越工程师”培养的要求。How to stimulate students'interest in research and training of outstanding engineers with high engineering quality,strong practical ability and innovation ability,it becomes the attention topic of the higher education.Hunan institute of engineering is the one of the first higher education of"Plan of educating and training of outstanding engineers".We set up the course of"Lectures on Frontiers of the Discipline".The course introduces the research status and research trends,which broaden the scope of knowledge and specialization of students.In the paper,we present our opinions on the modification of teaching content,teaching model,teaching method,teaching team and examination mechanism and make it meet the need of"Training of outstanding engineers".
