Objective To exploring the impact of free position management mode on the delivery mode and pregnancy outcome of postpartum women in occipital posterior position. Methods 600 parturients with posterior occipital position were selected as research objects and divided into control group and research group with 300 persons each according to random number table method. The control group was given conventional management mode, and the study group was given free position management mode. The methods of delivery, pregnancy outcome, indications of caesarean section transfer, pain degree and satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The natural delivery rate and maternal satisfaction in the study group were higher than those in the control group, while the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes, indications for conversion to cesarean section, and pain scores were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The free body position management model can significantly improve the natural delivery rate, alleviate pain, improve pregnancy outcomes, and increase maternal satisfaction. It is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
