摘　　要：Sepsis is a systemic inflammatory response syndrome caused by infection that affects millions of people each year and carries a high risk of death.It has become a global public health problem[1].Sepsis mediates mitochondrial dysfunction,inhibits myocardial function,and directly causes impaired myocardial circulation.When septic cardiac dysfunction occurs,the mortality rate of patients with sepsis increases significantly[2].Salidroside,extracted from the Chinese herb Rhodiola rosea,is a phenolic chemical.Zhao et al.[3]found that salidroside has good biological activity against various cardiovascular diseases.These effects include reducing myocardial injury,enhancing myocardial contractility and improving myocardial perfusion,thus promoting recovery of cardiac function[4].In this study,we aimed to investigate the protective effect of salidroside on septic cardiotoxicity in rats.
