摘　　要：功能性β细胞数量严重减少是糖尿病发病机制中的主要特征之一。CDKN1B是一类新的调节蛋白,通过结合和灭活细胞周期蛋白与细胞周期蛋白依赖性激酶组成的复合物来控制细胞周期进程。研究揭示胰岛β细胞中CDKN1B的下调或缺失能够加速胰岛β细胞的增殖,进而增加β细胞数量,对糖尿病治疗具有重要意义。The serious decrease in the number of functional β cells is one of the main features in the pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus.CDKN1B is a new kind of regulatory protein,which can bind and inactivate cyclin and cyclin-dependent kinase complex to control the process of cell cycle.It was suggested that down-regulation or deletion of CDKN1B in islet β cells could accelerate the proliferation of islet β cells,thus increasing the number of islet β cells,which is of great significance for treatments of diabetes.
