During Taiwans Japanese colonial era and its subsequent return to Chinese sovereignty, the mainstream literary language used in Taiwans region new literary circles underwent two changes, resulting in a phenomenon known as"crosslanguage practice".This practice demonstrated a language construction path based on"literary Chinese"and the shaping and loss of Japanese as the mainstream literary language.Cross-language writing revealed the collective cultural psychology of cross-language writers,as well as the vastly different transformational meanings behind the two"cross-language"cases.The historical experience of cross-language writers'acquisition of subjectivity could be replicated precisely.Cross-language writers adopted a"dialect approach"to learn Mandarin and proactively confronted the difficulties of"abolishing Japanese",demonstrating the historical inevitability and practical challenges of cultural reconstruction after Taiwan's region return to Chinese sovereignty.
