摘　　要：本文聚焦维克多·雨果在《哲学前言》中借助自然科学研究提供的事例,确立神的过程及其产生的意义。通过想象,雨果对“真实”被实际观测到、记录下的样子施加了不同程度的改造,将世界在三个大层面上呈现为无极;在因果律的帮助下,与无极的接触带来了一种对神的体验。事例的繁多与堆叠展示出宇宙的盛大,帮助读者以直观的方式认识到虚无主义的荒诞。人类灵魂与神的连接为民主制度提供了道德根基,而将真实拉向无极的想象则成为了作者表达其个人信仰的一种工具。This article focuses on the way by which Victor Hugo establishes God with certain scientific findings in Préface philosophique,and on the meanings produced by this establishment.Through imagination,Hugo reworks the Reality observed and noted by the scientists and the scholars,in order to present,on three main levels,the universe as infinity.The coming into contact with infinity,enabled by the cause-and-effect reasoning,constitutes an experience of God.The great quantity and accumulation of examples reveal the splendor of the world and the absurdity of nihilism in an intuitive way.The connection between the human soul and God provides the moral basis for democracy,while the imagination that pulls the Reality towards infinity becomes the vehicle by which conveys his personal faith.
