摘　　要：北宋仁宗朝翰林学士宋祁虽自谓“中人”,但其实他的作品颇为时人称道,且名满天下。他精通文史,曾长期参与编撰大型档案文献,花十年之功编撰而成史学著作《唐书》,著作等身。然而,他在晚年时不仅提出“文章必自名一家,可传不朽”,而且慎重地告诫子孙不要随意编纂其文集进行传播。这些个人与社会评价之间的差距所引起的拒绝文集传播“不传”行为引起后人思考。本文将揭示新兴雕印媒介环境下的文学传播观念与行为之间所产生的张力,并尝试对文人所作出的选择进行解读。笔者认为,“自名一家”是宋代科举文人在雕印技术新媒介环境中重新认识文学价值与功能之后的新观点,体现了文学传播的历史意识对文学审美意识的反拨。Although Song Qi,a scholar of the Imperial Academy during Emperor Renzong’s reign of the Song Dynasty,called himself“a person of average”,his works were highly praised by his contemporaries and were well-known throughout the literary circle.He was proficient in literature and history,and took a long time to participate in the compilation of large bulks of archival documents.He spent ten years compiling The History of the Tang Dynasty.And his works were abundant throughout his life.However,in his later years,he not only proposed that“a person’s writing must be distinct,otherwise should not be passed down”,but also cautiously warned his descendants not to hastily compile his works for dissemination.The contradiction between his personal ideas and the praise he received from the society was a cause of his“not disseminating works”,which evoked further thinking.This article will reveal the tension between the ideas and the behaviors of disseminating literature in the rise of engraving media,and attempt to understand the choice made by literati.The author believes that“a person’s writing must be distinct”was a new notion proposed by literati in the Imperial Examination system of the Song Dynasty,after a re-understanding of the values and functions of literature in a time when engraving media emerged.It was a reaction of the historical consciousness of disseminating literature to the aesthetic consciousness of literature.
