摘　　要：空间数据库课程作为GIS专业的核心课程,在中外大学GIS专业中均有相应的开设。本文以国外知名高校的空间数据库课程为研究对象,分析其课程相应的讲授特点。国外的空间数据库课程注重学生自主学习能力的培养,注重学生对知识的掌握与应用。这些特点值得国内一些开设空间数据库课程的高校借鉴和思考。Spatial database course,as the core course of GIS training,is offered correspondingly in GIS majors in Chinese and foreign universities.This paper takes the teaching of spatial database courses in well-known foreign universities as the research object,and analyzes the corresponding teaching characteristics of their courses.Foreign spatial database courses focus on the cultivation of heuristic students'autonomous learning ability and on students'mastery and use of knowledge.These characteristics are worthy of reference for some domestic spatial database courses.
